Editorial policy
BestTEFL is the TEFL course website of London College of Teachers Limited (Company No. 12339919, UKPRN 10096558). Every guide, course page, location page and answer on this site is written for learners, checked against primary sources, and reviewed by the London College of Teachers Academic Team. Each page shows when it was last reviewed. If you find an error, email admin@londoncollegeofteachers.co.uk and we will check and correct it.
Who writes and reviews our content
Content is written by London College of Teachers' course and admissions staff and reviewed by the London College of Teachers Academic Team, who check that course facts, assessment descriptions and advice are accurate and useful. The review date on each page shows when it was last checked.
How we check facts
- Course levels, hours, fees and assessment come from London College of Teachers' own published course pages.
- Company and registration details are checked against Companies House and the UK Register of Learning Providers.
- Rules about teaching licences, registration and visas are checked against government and regulator websites where possible, and are written as general guidance because they change.
- Figures that change often, such as salaries, are described in general terms rather than as precise numbers.
What we will not do
- We do not promise jobs, visas or salaries.
- We do not claim that a certificate is a government licence, a registration or a university degree.
- We do not publish invented reviews or testimonials.
- We do not accept payment to recommend other providers or employers.
Reviews and testimonials
Student reviews shown on this site are from London College of Teachers students and are shared with permission. Some reviews come from students of other London College of Teachers courses; we say so where they appear. The 4.9 rating summarises reviews from Google, Facebook, Instagram and alumni.
Related organisations
London College of Teachers lists the bodies it is a member of or accredited by on the accreditation page. Where an organisation is related to London College of Teachers, for example American TEFL, which shares a founder with London College of Teachers, we disclose that relationship.

If you spot an error or out-of-date information, email admin@londoncollegeofteachers.co.uk with the page address. We check the correction against sources, update the page and change its review date. We aim to re-check course facts whenever London College of Teachers changes them.
